279Online elementary school students get hands-on with first field trip

On March 18, elementary school students from 279Online embarked on a fun learning adventure with their first ever field trip, funded through a District 279 Foundation grant. Thirty-seven students traveled to the Works Museum in Bloomington, where they explored the exciting world of science through hands-on activities.

Osseo Area Schools Superintendent named administrator of excellence

The Minnesota Association of School Administrators (MASA) recently announced their 2025 Regional Administrators of Excellence, and Osseo Area Schools’ Superintendent, Dr. Kim Hiel, has been recognized as the organization’s award winner for region nine.
