Osseo Area Schools' Summer Programs offer a diverse range of engaging academic and enrichment opportunities to spark students’ curiosity, inspire creativity and a love for learning. In July 2024, Osseo Area Schools' Adult Basic Education (ABE) received new grant funding from the State of Minnesota for Adults with Disabilities. The funding provides ABE with more tools and resources to support student success. Learn more about how the new funding has positively impacted students ABE.

Our district is temporarily moving to eLearning tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 21, because of the extreme cold expected during arrival time that the National Weather Service strongly suggests our community avoid for safety reasons.

Staff members at the Osseo Area Learning Center (OALC) and 279Online have recently taken an active approach to championing recycling efforts, earning them a free park bench to be placed on site at the OALC. 

Osseo Area Schools’ Preschool and Prekindergarten Programs for the 2025-26 school year open for registration in January 2025. Programs are for children who will be three or four years-old on or before Sept. 1, 2025. Each program is designed to foster curiosity and creativity while supporting the growth of every scholar during their education journey. Visit district279.org/preschool-prek for details.
