On Wednesday, Feb. 17, Osseo Area Schools will begin to bring secondary students back to school buildings for hybrid and later in-person learning on a phased-in basis. Below is a breakdown of this process by date and grade. (Note: These changes will not affect students in the Distance Learning Academy.)
Tuesday, Feb. 9 through Thursday, Feb. 11
All students, grades 6 through 12, will continue to learn in the distance learning model.
Friday, Feb. 12, Monday, Feb. 15, and Tuesday, Feb. 16
There will be no school for students in grades 6 through 12 to allow staff preparation time for the learning model shift. Monday, Feb. 15 is a non-school day due to the Presidents Day holiday.
Wednesday, Feb. 17 and Thursday, Feb. 18
- Middle school (grades 6-8) and high school grades 9 and 12 return to the hybrid model in their previously assigned groups.
- Group A returns on Wednesday, Feb. 17.
- Group B returns on Thursday, Feb. 18.
- High school grades 10 and 11 continue to learn in the distance learning model.
Monday, March 1 and Tuesday, March 2
- High school grades 10 and 11 return to the hybrid model in their previously assigned groups.
- Group A returns on Monday, March 1.
- Group B returns on Tuesday, March 2.
Friday, March 26 and Monday, April 5
There will be no school for students in grades 6 through 12 to allow staff preparation time for the learning model shift.
Tuesday, April 6
- All students in grades 6-12 return for full in-person learning.
