Eight Osseo Area Schools recognized for PBIS implementation in 2022-23

The Minnesota Department of Education recently honored schools and districts for their successful work during the 2022-23 school year engaging in sustained Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) implementation. PBIS is an evidence-based framework for preventing problem behavior, providing instruction and support for positive and prosocial behaviors, and supporting social, emotional and behavioral needs for all students.

Eight schools in the district are being recognized for sustaining PBIS for the 2022-23 school year. Osseo Area Schools was additionally selected as a Sustaining Exemplar District, with 28 PBIS schools or programs in the district.
