Michael Mckinley, education support professional, and Jess Stewart, social studies teacher for 279Online, have a new unit on food and agriculture that teaches students how humans interact with the environment.
May 2-6, 2022 is Teacher Appreciation Week. Thank you to all of the teachers in Osseo Area Schools for all that they do!
For more than 25 years, Osseo Area Schools has put on one of the largest education-based powwows in the state. With more than 500 Native American students and 90 tribes represented, the powwow brings more than 1,000 people together for a celebration of culture and history.
Teachers and staff from Osseo Area Schools gathered to celebrate and share the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) techniques they shared this school year. Teams from elementary, middle and high schools presented the goals they set at the beginning of the year and how they accomplished them. They also took time to connect and collaborate on their site improvement plans.
