279Online students at the middle school level receive the same quality of academic programming as their peers who attend school in person. Some elective classes like physical education, art and music are modified in order to create virtual learning opportunities.
Students and teachers engage in learning through the use of Schoology, a learning management system. Learning activities are aligned to the academic standards for each subject area. Learning occurs through a blend of daily live virtual sessions, pre-recorded video tutorials, and independent learning activities.
